Discussion and working areas for Library Help Resource Planning Project advisory committee

The objective of the Library Help Resource Planning Project is to identify possible solutions for supporting public access computers at public libraries. This includes providing means for libraries to obtain online, call-in, and onsite support. Understanding that regional networks, state libraries, and other support organizations are in place in some areas, we seek to understand how the entire public library community can best be served in the area of technical support for public access computers especially for underserved and unsupported libraries. We do not expect a single outcome or solution from our research as needs and requirements vary by factors such as geography, proxmimity to resources, funding availability, and existing support mechanisms.

This group is for the advisory committee to provide feedback on specific documents in a structured way.
