This email list is devoted to communication between those of us
interested in the Bay Area Coop. Our objective is to become personal-
ly acquainted with our farmers and knowledgeable about the farming
techniques that they are using in the production of our foods. We
wish to further our own health while at the same time encouraging
our farmers in the pursuit of mixed and sustainable farming, and help
them through our coordinated effort to keep alive the possibility of an
alternative to industrialized farming. For those goods that are not
locally available, our objective is to explore and find the best sources
and purchase as a group so as to both lower our prices and leverage
our economic impact.

These days our list is quite quiet, though occasionally sources of local
high quality food are announced here, or news relevant to our farmers
and thereby to ourselves. The list is open and anyone can post, start
a discussion, or propose new events. Post are not moderated, but we
ask that you keep it to the topics at hand.
